Niddrie, Fish & Buchanan LLP specializes in appellate litigation. The firm handles a wide variety of appellate matters, including all types of statutory and common law writs, civil and criminal appeals, and review proceedings in state and federal appellate courts. All of the firm's partners have been certified as appellate specialists by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. The partners are also available to serve as experts or consultants on cases with appellate potential. Members of the firm have valuable experience working for state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. All have served as research attorneys for the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division One, in San Diego. Two of the partners have also served as law clerks for federal district court judges, and one spent two years as Staff Counsel to the United States Supreme Court.
